Las obras de arte no son espejos, pero comparten con ellos esa inaprehensible magia de transformación, tan difícil de expresar en palabras; en tal sentido, el lenguaje plástico de Emilia Ghirardi –de inusitada densidad visual, complejo en su proceso y transparente en su resolución –reviste un reconocimiento estético que conduce a un modo de expresión y de significación, cuyosreferentes se manifiestan en la obra visual misma.
Estasobrasnacen de una sensibilidad entrenada;su autora ha descubierto el misterio del lenguaje pictóricoy lo expresa con auténtica entrega, ofreciendo un cierto cosmos enigmático en constante interrogante.Haymatices vibrantes cargados de vehemencia, pinceladas vigorosas, potentes, envolventes, en eclosión constante de fuerza.
Un conjunto, en síntesis, que conjuga cierto carácter nostálgico con una transmisión de energía a través de colores fuertes, grandesformas, cruce de trazos, que permiten amalgamaruna gran armonía de contrastes -a pesar que esto pueda resultar contradictorio-donde la manifestación de sentimientos y emociones de su autora, se reafirma más que la representación de la realidad objetiva.

The works of art aren’tmirrors, but share with them that elusive magic of transformation, that is so hard to express with words; inthat way, the plastic language of Emilia Ghirardi –of an unusualvisual density, complex in its process and transparentin its result-coats an aesthetic recognition that leads to amode of expressionand significance, which referents are manifested in the visual work itself.
These piecesare born from a trained sensitivity; its author has discovered the mystery of the pictorial language and expresses it in an authenticdelivery,offering a certain enigmatic cosmos in constantquery. There are vibrant nuances chargedof vehemence, vigorous strokes, powerful, involving, ina constant hatching of forces.
A set, in synthesis, thatconjugates a certain nostalgic character with the transmissionof energy through strong colors, big shapes, crossedstrokes, that allow to amalgam a great harmony of contrasts –even thought this can result contradictory-where the manifestation of feelings and emotions of its author, reaffirmsmore than the representation of the objective reality.

Recorriendo gran parte de la obra de Emilia Ghirardia simple vista observamos laamplitudgenerosa del explayarse…con marcada tendencia a innovar, a no caer en recetas, a incursionar en cromatismos diversos e ir por senderos de experimentación muy interesantes. Sus trabajos nos hablan de un modo de vida rico en esencia que se anima aldecir. Pareciera tener un motorpersonal que la lleva a recorrer haciendo del acto de pintar producciones muy creativas.
Hay tensión y dinamismo en estas telas que no son copias de nada…que son producto de su ilimitada imaginación. Al ir avanzando sobre las tres obras aquí presentadas La profundidad manifiesta es significativa…transportándonos a una búsqueda del más allá…de alguna forma planteado en el tratamiento del espacio y de las texturas visuales que nos adentran en una cierta tridimensionalidad muy cautivante. Como por ejemplo en “Buhardilla” donde líneas definidas como con intensión de marcar planos precisos van dando lugar a sensaciones corpóreas de alternancia en cromatismos que dividen como en planos de sostén…lo aplicado en collage se incorpora amalgamándose perfectamente al sentido de recorrido espacial, sintiéndose la acumulación dispuesta en la composición…Si no tuviésemos el titulo de este trabajo igualmente lo interpretaríamos, en nuestro afán por los designados, marcando que se trata de un espacio edificado y con objetos de sueños, algo onírico…construido como en esos recovecos que a veces la psicología asocia a los lugares laberinticos del cerebro…
En “Noche de disfraces “en ese profundo y enigmático fondo es donde se recorta una escena intima y la luz ilumina directamente a ese grupo actoral que parece ser una familia circense….es fabuloso el contraste de luces y sombras… y lo enigmático del atrás acentúa esos gestos cansados al final de la jornada… Este trabajo es poseedor de un particular encanto que se establece con el dialogo que promueven esos recorridos de esgrafiados en orgánicos rostros pensativos, cansados, que parecen interrogarnos… las líneas dinámicas de tensión en profundas diagonales arman una situación que ancla este concepto. La mujer con rostro ausente, perdido en un pasado olvidado, solo posee un pañuelo en esa cabeza que se dirige a la tierra como señalando que de allí es de donde todo surge…El deleite de manchas y texturas táctiles que marcan el hacer de la artista connotan un proceso pictórico significativo donde todo suma desde donde sucede…como esa figura infante que acaricia apoyada sobre el vientre de la mujer embarazada siendo ambas de una dulzura etérea espiritual muy especial… la mujer descansa sobre el personaje central frontal, de doble lectura espacial, que nos mira fijo como preguntándonos: quienes son en realidad los disfrazados?
En “Caminos de sueños” la tensión es atrapante. Ese entrecruce de direcciones que viene de allá lejos…de un principio oscuro y que se dirige a un colorido destino previo a sortear dudas simbolizadas en cumulonimbos y humos blancos que se presentan con gran predominio en la obra. Sueños…dudas… todo flota en los peldaños en donde el transitar esta sostenido por una atmosfera que tiende a provocarun enorme vacío…Emilia Ghirardi desarrolla una profunda creatividad ampliando a imaginarios horizontes que surgen de su necesidad interior transformada en bellas obras pictóricas.

Touring much of the art of Emilia Ghirardi at first glance we can observe a generous breadth of spreading… with amarked tendency to innovate, not to fall into recipes, to dabble in diverse chromatism and to go along very interesting paths of experimentation. Her work talks to us about a way of living rich in its essence and its encouraged to speak. Seems to have a personal engine that takes her to travel making the act of painting very creative productions.
There is tension and dynamism in these canvas that aren’t a copy of anything… they are a product of her limitless imagination. When advancing on these three works here presented, the depth of the manifestation is significative… transporting us to the search of the beyond… in some way posed in the treatment of space and the visual textures that make us enter in a certain three-dimensionality, that is very captivating. For example, in “Buhardilla” where defined lines as intended to mark precise planes start giving place to corporeal sensations of alternance in chromatism that dived into holding planes… the applied in the collage its incorporated amalgamating perfectly in the sense of the spatial journey, feeling the accumulation disposed in the composition…If we didn’t know the title of these works, we would equally interpretit, in our eagerness by the designated, marking that it is about a built upspace with objects of dreams, something dream like…constructed in those nooksand crannies that sometimes psychology associates to the labyrinthic places of the brain.
In “Noche de disfraces”in that deep and enigmatic background is where anintimate scenes is cropped and the light illuminates directly to that acting group that seems to be a circus family…the contrast of light and shadows is fabulous…and the enigmatic of the behind accentuates those tired gesture at the end of a working day…This work is possessorof a particular charm that is established with the dialogue that those graffitotours, inorganic thoughtfuland tired faces that seemto question us, promote…the dynamic linesof tension in deep diagonals make up a situation that anchoragesthisconcept. The women with the absent face,lost in a forgottenpast, only has a handkerchief in that head that is heading to earth like pointing that from there is where everythingarises…The delight of stains and tactile textures that mark the making of the artist connotate a significative pictorial process where everything adds up from where it happens…like that figure of an infant that caress laying in the belly of the pregnant woman being both of an etherea land spiritual sweetness that is very special…the women is resting above the central frontal character, of a doble spatial reading, that stares at us as asking: who are really the ones wearing a costume?
In “Caminos de sueños”the tensionis gripping. That intersect of directions that comes from far away…from a dark beginningand that heads to a colorful destiny previously to get around doubts symbolized in cumulonimbusand white smokes that presentthemselves with great dominance in the piece. Dreams…doubts…everythingfloats in the steps where to transit is hold by an atmosphere that tends to provoke an enormousvoid.Emilia Ghirardi develops a deep creativity expanding to imaginary horizons that arise from her interior need transformed into beautiful pictorial pieces.
